If you had a problem printing your recalls or generating a file of recalls to be sent to ExpressBill, you can use the Requeue Recalls Utility to try again. Access to this utility is by permission only. If you do not have permission but feel you should, speak with your practice administrator.
I. Opening the Requeue Recalls Utility
To access the utility, double-click on the Admin Utilities shortcut on your computer desktop. If you do not have this shortcut, see Opening Admin Utilities.doc in \Pinpoint\Documentation. From the Admin Utilities window, click More in the lower right hand corner of the window. Enter your personal ID number, and click Done. From the Utility Suite Launcher window, click Requeue Recalls.
II. Using the Requeue Recalls Utility
In the field labeled “Requeue recalls for this date:” , specify the date when the batch of recalls was originally sent. The date is specified in M/D/YYYY format. You can specify the date with the keyboard by clicking on the part of the date to be changed and typing the date you want; move between the month, the day and the year using your left and right arrow keys. Clicking the dropdown arrow enables you to specify the date on a calendar using the mouse. For example, to requeue the recalls that were sent on June 4, 2008, the user would specify the date “6/4/2008” in the field labeled “Requeue recalls for this date:”.
Then, click Requeue Recalls. A dialog box will appear listing the recalls to be requeued. Review the list. To requeue the recalls, click Confirm. To close the dialog box without requeueing the recalls, click the X button in the upper right hand corner of the dialog box.
When you are done selecting your recalls to be requeued, close Admin Utilities. Open the IO Administrative software. Click Pending Transactions. Recalls, and then Pend. Select the appropriate end date at the top of the pending recall screen. The recalls you requeued will be listed on the Review Recalls screen. Click Queue and then either Print or Export to regenerate your recalls.
